The ownership of JScholar is not obvious. Under "CONTACT INFO," the homepage has the address of JScholar Publishers, 185 E Homestead Rd, Sunnyvale, CA 94087, +1 (607) 523-4092. But the "CONTACT US" page uses 18170 Dallas Pkwy Suite 104, Dallas Texas 75287, +14692832220. An apartment house is located at the Sunnyvale address.
That address, by the way, is also the address of Clerisy Publishers. The websites have remarkable similarities. For example,

Here's the guy's entry in the Indian company register:
ReplyDeletehttps://www.zaubacorp.com/company/JSCHOLAR-SCIENTIFIC-COMMUNICATIONS-OPC-PRIVATE-LIMITED/U22300TG2018OPC127452
An out-of-date Whois record for 'jscholaronline.org' (dating back before the present anonymised registration) confirms the address and the email account (ashok.b1389@gmail.com).

ReplyDeleteI'm inclined to believe that JScholar and Clerisy are different entities, if only because Clerisy are more advanced with their grifting, having progressed to the predatory scamference market (clerisyconferences.com).
ReplyDeleteThat does not account for the shared US address and phone #, but they could be explained if there is some guy in California who is happy to double-dip as the agent for both groups.
